外院网讯(通讯员 梅靓英 付竹艺)2024年9月26日,永利集团3044官网欢迎您英语系在三号教学楼二楼多功能室成功举办了一场针对英语专业大二学生的考研指导会。此次指导会由2023级英语1班、2班两位班导师喻侯林老师和钱俊老师共同组织,旨在帮助大二学生提前了解考研形势、明确考研目标、规划考研路径,为未来的考研之路奠定坚实基础。
指导会上,钱俊老师首先强调了考研对于个人学术深造和职业发展的重要性,鼓励同学们要树立远大目标,勇于追求更高的学术成就。同时,她还结合当前考研的竞争态势,提醒同学们要早做准备,合理规划大学学习生活。
随后,钱俊老师又详细介绍了英语专业的考研方向和研究领域。通过钱俊老师深入浅出的讲解,同学们对本专业的考研情况有了更清晰的认识,为同学们选择考研专业提供了有益的参考。同时,钱俊老师还特别强调了跨专业考研的注意事项,提醒同学们要充分考虑自身兴趣和专业基础,谨慎做出选择。

Sophomore English Majors Embarking on the Journey of Postgraduate Exam Planning
(Reporters: Mei Liangying, Fu Zhiyi) On September 26, 2024, the English Department of the School of Foreign Languages successfully held a postgraduate guidance session for sophomore English majors. The event was jointly organized by the class tutors of the 2023 English Class 1 and Class 2, Teachers Yu Houlin and Qian Jun, with the aim of helping second-year students understand the postgraduate exam situation, clarify their goals, and plan their paths, laying a solid foundation for their future postgraduate journey. At the guidance session, Ms Qian Jun first emphasized the importance of postgraduate studies for individual academic deepening and career development, encouraging students to set ambitious goals and pursue higher academic achievements. She also reminded students of the need to prepare early and plan their university studies reasonably in light of the current competitive situation of the postgraduate exam.
Subsequently, Ms Qian introduced in detail the postgraduate directions and research fields of the English major. Through her easy-to-understand explanations, the students gained a clearer understanding of the postgraduate exam situation, providing a useful reference for their choice of postgraduate specialty. Ms Qian also specifically highlighted the considerations for interdisciplinary postgraduate studies, advising students to fully consider their own interests and professional foundation and make careful choices.
In the interactive exchange session, students actively asked questions and engaged in in-depth discussions with the teachers on issues of concern. The two teachers patiently answered questions about the arrangement of postgraduate review time, how to balance academic work and postgraduate preparation, and how to obtain postgraduate exam materials, etc. The teachers encouraged the students to firm their confidence in the postgraduate exam, set clear goals, and take action, stating that the school would fully support the students in their postgraduate endeavors.
The postgraduate guidance session ended successfully in a warm atmosphere.
